1) Cupertino Kids' Swiss & Quads November 15 @ Cupertino Courtyard
Our usual scholastic tournament day at our popular Cupertino location. Swiss in the morning with 4 rounds and Quads in the afternoon with 3 rounds.

2) CA Kids' Class Championship - November 27 @ Santa Clara Convention Center
The usual tournament over Thanksgiving Weekend will be held at the Santa Clara Convention Center this year.
Scholastic players are set to compete on Friday with the usual G/30; d5 time control. The trophies for this tournament are already arrived and looking very shiny :)

3) CalChess Grade Level Championship - December 5-6 @ Santa Clara Convention Center
The Annual CalChess Grade Level Championship will be held also at the Santa Clara Convention Center and expected to be a fun and exciting event for all grades!
Looking forward having many students and teams competing for amazing trophies and the State Championship title!
Hoping to break a record in attendance, the organizers are preparing with some exciting upgrades in how to get results and pairings as well as providing excellent conditions for our players.

Our annual kick-off of the year: it'll be a excellent way to start our new year to have a fun day with 5 rounds to compete before heading back to school!

5) 2016 US Junior Chess Congress - a USCF National Championship - Jan 23/24 @ Livermore Community Center
We are bringing back the US Junior Congress to California!

6) 2016 US Amateur Team West Championship - Febr 14 @ Santa Clara Convention Center
The Amateur Team West Tournament is back in Northern California! Prepare your best teams, and compete on Board 1 through 4.
The Scholastic players rated under1000 will be competing on Saturday, February 14th to ear some amazing trophies and prizes!
