Dear Players and Parents,
Please read and take note of the following reminder and warning:
We have several reports and complaints that multiple players have been discussing active games with each other during our recent tournaments. This is cheating and BayAreaChess will not be tolerating this.
For this reason, we are sending this reminder and giving a final warning and strongly reinforcing the following rule according to USCF rules:
If any player is engaging in any verbal or non-verbal communication while in an active game, or near an active game that player or players involved is subject to being immediately forfeited without any prior on-site warning.
Please, make sure to communicate this rule to your child(ren) so that they do know about this rule, and make sure that they understand the severity and consequences of their actions.
