Dear Parents and Players,
Exactly 2 weeks from now, we'll be celebrating all the awesome dads around the country. We are inviting you to make a special event for the day: come and participate in our special Father's day Championship.
This is an event where both father AND child can play, simultaneously, in separate sections of course, but compete as a team, and maybe even take home one of the special commemorative Team Trophies.
The kids' sections are the usual swiss sections, the fathers' sections will be determined on site based on the registered players, and their wishes :) Anyone is welcome to bring their uncle, grandfather, or any significant male model in their lives.
Please, REGISTER NOW because space is limited, and we'll close registration when we have 25 teams. Maximum capacity for the site is 60.

Two separate, simultaneously run tournament:
5 rounds of G/30;d5 games
swiss tournament
1) Children's Tournament: same as our usual morning Swiss tournament:
3 section: Booster (u500), Premier (500-799), Championship (800+)
AND
2) Father's Tournament: rated and non-rated section.
Rated section may be split into two based on registered players.
Sections to be determined on site based on players' feedback.
Prizes
Trophies to all kids with winning record, medals to all other.
Special Commemorative Team Trohies to the Top 5 Father-Child Teams
(Father and Child's total score will be counted towards the team score. Total maximum team score possible is 10.0)
Start time: 10AM
Time Control: G/30;d5
Round times: 5 rounds between 10AM and 3PM
each round is starting once the previous finished.
Entry Fee: $43 for scholastic entry fee - DADs are FREE
