Dear Parents, and Players,
Returning to Livermore is the 13th Annual Susan Polgar Foundation Open Championship for Boys and Girls.
We are planning some very special side events, and fun things to spend your time between rounds and for Friday evening to warm up!
There are two different schedules: All championship sections are 2-day events, with 3 rounds on both Saturday and Sunday.
And we have the Reserve secton players rated under500 or under800 as a one day event only, who should be coming on Saturday.
Did you attend the Super States on April 7-8? This is a great continuation of that event, and great opportunity for any player to continue with their tournament "fever" :)
Special for this tournament, that Girls and Boys are in different sections! Fun fun :)

10 Sections are based on AGE:
Under Age8, Under Age10, Under Age12
Under Age 14 or Under Age16/18
How to determine? How old was the player on Jan 1st 2018?
That's the section every player should go.
May 2018 Supplemental and TD discretion used when determining ratings.
Trophies to:
Top 15 players in each sections
Winning record required for trophy - medals to all others.
Top 3 School Team Trophies in each sections
Top 3 Club Team Trophies in each sections
Time Control & Round Times
Time Control: 6 rounds G/60;d5
Rounds: Saturday 9:30am, 12:30am, 3:30pm
Sunday 9:30am, 12:30am, 2:30pm
