Dear Players,

I would like to personally invite every eager scholastic player to come and join us at the Santa Clara Convention Center for some fun competition and trophies!
This tournament is for young tournament players, rated under1200: a 1-day tournament, with 4 different section and each section will play 5 rounds.
We are awarding BIG trophies for everyone with a winning record, some even as big as three post trophies! And for those who don't get more than 2.5 points, we'll have medals for them as usual.
Last year we had over 200 young players participating, and we had the biggest fun over that weekend, so join us this year as well! --> Check out some pictures from last year :)

If your child is more advanced player, rated above 1000: the annual CalChess State Championship is traditionally during the Labor day weekend, and this year it's organized by Berkeley Chess School.

This year the organizers and TD crew are working hard to make the event special and smooth: we are making sure that all parents have a comfortable skittle room, as well as ensuring that all games are going without disturbance and always providing fair play and conditions to every player.

F (900-1199), G (600-899), H (300-599), I (u300)

Trophies to:
Top 10 players in each sections (winning record required)
Top 10 Clubs & Top 10 Schools in all sections combined.
Min 2/team, top 4 player count.
Grade K-12 only.
