Forgive me for accidentally sending you an earlier draft of this email. This corrects/adds the missing links and details on the CalChess events.

 

CalChess Scholastic Reminders:

1. June 5th 2021 Denker, Barber, and Rockefeller Qualifiers & State Championships Warm-ups (register now | get info)

   1. 2021 Denker, Barber, and Rockefeller Qualifiers are online because the Nationals are likely online. In case the Nationals are OTB, we will likely have OTB playoffs between the top 2-4 players from the online qualifiers and the top 2 rated players for each grade range.  

   2. 2021 State Championships Warm-ups is an online tournament to get everyone (players, staff, etc.) ready for the upcoming online state championship qualifiers.

2. June 26th (register now | get info)

   1. 2020-21 CalChess Grade Levels Qualifiers are online followed by OTB playoffs in September or October 2021 (based on 2020-21 academic year).

3. July 24, 31 and/or August 1, 2020-21 (save the date)

   1. CalChess Scholastic Super States Qualifiers are online ifollowed by OTB playoffs in September or October 2021 (based on 2020-21 academic year).

      2. May 30th and June 6th at Cupertino Juniper

      3. June 12th at Fremont Marriott

   2. Regular/Adult 3SS x G/75 +5 at 9am (register now | get info)

      1. May 30th and June 6th at Cupertino Juniper 

      2. June 12th at Fremont Marriott

2. Register ASAP because capacity is limited based on prevailing COVID-19 precautions. 

3. Note: We moved May 23rd to 30th to help another organizer run their event.
