Don’t miss out on CalChess Championship Qualifiers this weekend 

1. We're waiving the late fee for the next 100 players who register for this weekend’s K-3 Qualifiers (on July 24) because we weren’t able to open registrations earlier. Please register ASAP to save your money and also help us fund the qualifiers. (If you paid a late fee, we will refund it.)

   1. 2020-21 CalChess SUPER STATE Championship Qualifiers are online on three separate dates:

      1. Grades K-3 on Jul. 24 (who may also play on Jul. 31 & Aug. 7 for a huge discount)

      2. Grades 4-6 on Jul. 31 (open to K-6, who may also play on Aug. 7 for a huge discount)

      3. Grades 7-12 on Aug. 7 (open to all K-12)

   2. The grade is based on the 2020-21 academic year

   3. The OTB playoffs will be in September or October 2021 (or sooner on 3 separate dates)

      1. Players who qualify for multiple sections may play in every section that they qualify.
