This is an Official STATE Championship Event for all levels (and ages) authorized by US Chess Federation (with free parking)!

- Sections: 7 Sections for players for all ages from under 1200 to over 2200.
- FIDE & USCF rated Sections: M/Open (2200+), X (2000-2199), A (1800-1999), B (1600-1799), C (1400-1599)
- USCF rated Sections: D (1200-1399), E (under 1200)
- Schedules:
- 3-day 2 rounds on Saturday (1:30 6:00), 3 rounds on Sunday (9:30 2:00 6:45), 2 rounds on Monday (10:00 2:30)
- 2-day 5 rounds on Sunday (9:00 11:20 1:40 4:00 6:45) and 2 rounds on Monday (10:00 2:30); Rounds 1-4 are G/55 +5

- Individual Prizes: Trophies to all players with a winning record; medals to others
- Team Prizes: Trophies to all club teams with 2 or more players
The sum of the top 3 (or fewer) players' scores (in all sections combined) constitutes the team score. - The trophies are different sizes; the higher players/clubs will earn larger trophies than the lower placed players/clubs.

- Sections: 4 Sections for players for K-12 players: I (unrated & under 400), H (400-599), G (600-799), F (800-999),
- Schedule: Games at 9:15, 10:45, Lunch Break 12:30, 2:00 and 3:30
