Dear Players and Parents,

LAST CALL for the special lecture and USCF rated blitz tournament on Friday July 15th at our San Jose BAC office with Elite Team Coach GM Daniel Naroditsky!

The event starts at 6pm with GM Naroditsky lecturing on the development of the scholastic chess player; sharing his experiences learning chess and how he improved his game.
A little after 7pm we will begin a 5 round USCF rated blitz event with 2 sections; 1500+ and under 1500. Our lineup of confirmed participants includes GM Daniel Naroditsky, FM Kostya Kavutskiy, IM Faik Aleskerov. The tournament will have a prize pool of $500. Come down for an exciting night of chess and fun with the BAC family!!
Participants in our Triple Shot Chess Camp that week will get a 20% discount on the entry fee.

Also, Special Announcements:

1) Wednesday Marathon is suspended for the month of July due to many are traveling. It'll resume in August or September, please look out for our annuncements.

2) Grandprix 1-day tournaments are becoming very popular, so I urge everyone to register early, and book spots in advance. In case something comes up, you can reschedule the registration for a later tournament if you notify us a few hours before the 1st round start, and we can push it back for a small admin fee ($3-$4). This fee is still smaller than the discount you are getting when registering for multiple tournaments ($5/tourney).
Please register early for as far as till end of 2016!
