BayAreaChess is proud to be hosting a very special event tomorrow, Saturday at 5:45pm from our San Jose office.

The Monta Vista High Chess Team is trying to raise money to help fund their trip to the Supernationals in Nashville.
Two of its team members will hold fundraising simuls at our office, and all proceeds go directly to the Monta Vista High Chess team.
This Saturday February 4th, IM Kesav Viswanadha will play a 30 board max simul at our office. At 17 years old and with a rating of 2456, he is currently ranked #3 in the country for his age group.
Come out this Saturday to match wits with this young phenom while supporting a very good cause; a bay area scholastic chess team representing us at the national championships.
Tickets for a seat to play are only $20, and please remember, this is for a great cause!!

Let's see our chess community come out to support our very young and talented players. We will also provide some snacks for those in attendance.
You can pay at the door, but please email us your intent to participate so we can reserve your seat.
