Dear Players,
I would like to personally invite everyone to the annual State Championship over the Labor day weekend.
Last year we had a full house of 280 players! This year I'm preparing with more boards in more rooms and more space for skittle room. We will also be awarding 1st place trophies on top of the $20,000 prize fund.
Please, select the 3day schedule if you prefer to play all rounds with long-time control, or select the 2-day schedule if you can't make it on Saturday, and/or if you prefer to play the first three rounds with a bit faster time control :)
Master section is set to be FIDE rated and I'm working on having the Expert section to be FIDE rated as well.
Location is the same: we are at the Santa Clara Convention Center, where parking is Free :)
