Emory Tate passed away on October 17, 2015 while playing at our very own BAC Championship, in our office in San Jose, California.
Some of his last words that he wrote on his last email right before that Championship were :
''... please enter me in the two day Shankland event this weekend... Maybe I can win.''
We shall miss him forever....

3-day schedule:
On-site Registration (3-day): Friday, 6:30-6:45 PM
Rounds: Friday 7 PM at San Jose Office, Saturday 10 AM and 3 PM, Sunday 10 AM and 2:30 PM
2-day schedule:
On-site Registration (2-day): Saturday, 9:30-9:45 AM
Rounds: Saturday 10 AM, 12:30 PM and 3 PM, Sunday 10 AM and 2:30 PM
Time Control:
3-day: G/90 + 30 (Game in 90 minutes with 30 second increment)
2-day: G/60; d5 (Game in 60 minutes with 5 second delay for first two rounds)
