Summer has Arrived! See What we have to Offer.

Regular Chess Camps are offered EVERY week in at least 2 locations!
New and experienced players alike!

What's New: We now have Camp Shirts in 3 different colors, so repeat campers can collect them all while supplies last!

Note: Redwood City Camps are registered through the Parks and Rec department, not BAC. See Here for RWC Camps.

Master Chess Camps for 1000+ USCF players (or 1400+ on Chesskid)!
Advanced(only) lessons, critical thinking and deeper Analysis. Besides the normal Camp Shirts and Awards, Master Camps will also include:

- FREE USCF Annual Membership if a player does not have one.

- FREE USCF Rated Game every Master Camp Friday.

- FREE Chess Workbook from GM Susan Polgar.

6/20 - 6/24 in Palo Alto
9am - 1pm | 1pm - 5pm
7/11 - 7/15 in San Jose
9am - 1 pm | 1pm - 5pm
7/25 - 7/29 in Palo Alto
9am - 1pm | 1pm - 5pm

Strategy Board Game Camps cover a whole variety of different games and topics (not just chess!). 'Strategy-Games' will cover games through-out history, including ancient games from Egypt, Mesopotamia, China, the Romans, the Vikings.. learn the historical games from dozens of different cultures while also exploring modern and even home-brew additions! This camp also discusses Statistics/Odds in Dice, Building your Own Game, has a Maze-making competition and explores the secrets in a Deck of Cards. Fridays generally host a segment of time for supervised free-play Boardgaming! It's a great alternative Camp to serve as a standalone or to take in combination with Chess camps on the same day!

Strategy-Board Game Camps will be Held on the Following weeks:

6/27 - 7/1 in Palo Alto: 9am - 1pm (chess 1-5)
7/11 - 7/15 in Redwood City: 9-12pm or 9-4pm
7/18 - 7/22 in Palo Alto: 9am - 1pm (chess 1-5)

Special Teen Camp: There is a Teen-Only Camp (ages 12-17) on July 5-8 (4-day Camp) that combines Chess and Strategy-Games into one experience! Older students welcome!
7/5 - 7/8 in Palo Alto: 9am - 1pm | 1pm - 5pm

Online Term Options:

Our Online terms have continued through Summer!

1-hour classes, once per week, by Skill Level.

Track B3: 6/27 - 8/26 (9 sessions)

Track A5: 7/25 - 9/9 (7 sessions)

Online BootCamps for New Players (no experience).

Although New (level 1) players are welcome in our In-Person Camps (ages 5+), we also host an Online BootCamp (Five daily 50-minute live sessions). It's a week-long crash course in Chess that comes with a Chesskid.com Gold Membership. A great way to get brand new players involved and on a path of learning and fun!
