Congratulations are in Order!
We had a great time at the March 9-10 and 23-24 State Events. While not every BAC school was able to send at least two players in the same section to create a School team, we are very proud of the groups that were able to compete! See all Results and Pictures!! Some of our top STATE School placements in various sections:
Weibel Elementary - 1st Place!
Helios School - 2nd Place!
Harker Elementary - 3rd Place!
Pinewood School - 3rd Place!
Stevenson Elementary - 3rd Place!
Encinal Elementary - 4th Place!
Redwood Shores Elem - 4th Place!

We have two more major events in April:
April 7 is the CalChess K-12 'Team vs Team' Championship.
April 27-28 is the K-3 and K-8 State Championship (register early!).

BAC Chess Clubs, drop-in Fun and Learning, every weekend!

- Santa Clara - (5:30pm on Mondays).
- Palo Alto - (2:30pm on Saturdays).
- San Jose - (9:30am on Saturdays).
(We sell boards/sets, workbooks and chess clocks in San Jose!)
- San Jose Advanced (12pm on Saturdays).
- Cupertino - (5:00pm on Sundays).
- Fremont - (4:30pm on Fridays - Fremont is closed 3/29 and 4/5).

Our popular Online Classes return, this time for a 9-week term (8 paid +1 free!). We have 5 distinct levels, from Brand New to Highly Advanced, hosted 5:15-6:15 pm (PST) every weekday, which includes a GOLD membership to Chesskid.com. We also award BAC-Coins; a prize Currency to trade for real life prizes.
