A Special Welcome to the New Year, from Bay Area Chess! Coming Up: Our Winter and Spring Terms of After School Chess Enrichment will be starting in our nearly 100 Schools! If we are not in yours, let's do something about it! Or, join us for our weekend club classes, all-levels, below. We have Lunch Programs, weekday Online classes (starting the end of January), 3 categories of Seasonal Camps, Practice Tournaments, Parent Seminars, An Intermediate Tournament Team Class (Palo Alto) and Rated Chess Events just about every weekend, all leading up to the CalChess State Championships in Spring, which spans over 3 weekends! This is a good year to be a Chess Player.  BAC Chess Clubs, drop-in Fun and Learning, every weekend!  Spring Camps 2024!
 Rising Star Tournaments: Gateway to Competition These monthly non-rated weekend tournaments help kids and parents ease into competitive play with a casual Tournament Experience and an informative parent seminar for first-timers! Upcoming: Saturday 1/20 in San Jose !  BAC Online Classes, 1/29 - 3/15 Our popular Online Classes are coming back, completing their third year! We have 5 distinct levels, from Brand New to Highly Advanced, hosted 5:15-6:15 pm (PST) every weekday, which includes a GOLD membership to Chesskid.com. We also award BAC-Coins; a prize Currency to trade for real life prizes.
