Everyone knows that the period between Halloween and Thanksgiving is CHESS SEASON.  Let us prove it.

Bay Area Chess, the largest non-profit chess provider, hosts over 125 weekly after school programs, several drop-in Clubs and Tournaments every weekend, Online courses, special events, State/National Championships, seasonal Camps and much more.

Weekend Classes and a GM Simul!
10/28: The Monday evening Santa Clara Club will pause its weekly Prize-Game League for a Grandmaster Simul with GM Enrico Sevillano. Kids of all levels are welcome to play the GM! Big Prize if you can win or Draw! No special registration, only regular on-site drop-in club fees to join.

Online Chess!

ONLINE CLASSES begin their Final 2024 Track THIS WEEK! Classes are hosted at 5:15pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays, weekly.  (by day/Level). 
Tournament Games award BA€ Coins!

Higher intensity classes for the motivated BAC  Player.

USCF  500-1250 
(mandatory USCF, no online estimates will be used.)
Ages 6-14.
Palo Alto, 12:00 - 2:00pm.
1st and 3rd Saturdays from November 2024 to March 2025
= 10 sessions + Free State Event.

Course ends with a FREE entry to a CalChess 2025 State Championship in Spring, competing as a Team. Also receive Team Shirt and Workbooks!

RISING STAR TOURNAMENT

Our monthly practice Tournament for unrated players and new parents. Learn all about rated play with a mock-tournament (with prizes!) and a simultaneous parent seminar.
