Summer 2016 is here and we are very excited to start the our summer camps!
First week is starting off with a regular camp at Palo Alto and a Double shot Master Camp with two titled instructors at the new BAC Office.
Regular camps at Palo Alto: the morning camp is almost full, but the afternoon camp still have a few spots left. Please register NOW to secure your spot, as we'll close registration once we hit the maximum capacity. Palo Alto regular camp will feature veteran Coach and A-player Coach Wolfgang, and International Master Faik Aleskerov. Both are exellent with kids, and have provent to be delivering a fun yet educatonal summer camps. Glad to see many returning students.
The Master camp at BAC office will feature FM Kostya Kavutskiy and NM Thomas Riccardi. The two are good friends and shared a month long European tour in the spring. Read their adventures in Part 1 & Part 2. They'll be dividing the registered players into two groups: u1500 and 1500+ and will be challenging them throughout the day in rotations and also with combining the two groups.

Regular Camp: we welcome any child of 5 years or older to our Regular Chess Camps.
Prior chess knowledge is NOT required to attend the camp, we regurarly get absolute beginners, beginner and intermediate players at these camps.

Master Camp: this chess camp is for our advanced players who are rated 1000 or above, or with special coach recommendation. These camps are taught by titled instructors (Grandmasters, International Masters, or Fide or National Masters.) The level of puzzles and games covered are for advanced players who already have prior tournament experience. For more information on location, schedule, please click HERE.

We have three main goals with our chess camps:
1. Have fun with chess
2. Improve chess skills
3. Provide other stimulating activities to maintain interest
We apply a novel approach, where we combine and blend Academia, Chess, and Games!
Each 4 hour instructional block consists of:
1. Chess puzzles & creative exercises to sharpen the brain.
2. Group instruction & Personalized coaching to improve chess skills.
3. Casual play to practice and enjoy Chess.
4. Hourly breaks for (free) snacks and recess.
