Hello everyone,
BAC is proud to announce that we are organizing a BAC All Girls Team class on Saturdays 1-3pm at the San Jose BAC office led by WGM Tatev Abrahamyan.
This class is taking participants who are rated roughly between 400-1200. The class will be co facilitated by Divija Hasteer, who is ranked in the top 15 nationally for Girls aged 15. I will also be part of the class to help facilitate.
The purpose of the class is to inspire, motivate, support and develop young women in chess, and we are very excited about the potential this class has for the chess community. WGM Tatev is very much looking forward to connecting with all the team members and building some girl chess power in the Bay Area. We want to make this a fun and educational learning experience that combines the camaraderie and spirit of a team class. Specific details of the class can be found

To kick off the All Girls Team, we are hosting a Meet-n-Greet hour with WGM Tatev, Divija and the BAC leadership on Saturday, September 3rd at 5PM in the Santa Clara Convention Center (map.) The event is right after the Labor-day scholastic
