2017 Super States: March 11-12 - Register NOW to avoid the Late Fee!

Dear Parents and Players,

We are getting closer and closer to the Super States weekend! Please, register NOW to avoid the late fee and to make our life easier!

First time evar: I'm offering the first 20 parents the opportunity to earn free entry by volunteering 5 hours at the event. If you are interested, and would like to take this opportunity, please email me ASAP.
As you know this event is the biggest scholastic event, and I'm looking for volunteers and staff who will help me make sure that the event goes smooth, and can help as many parents and players to answer questions, solve problems, and make sure all is good everywhere.

Championship Section: K-Grade12 1600+!!!! Section IS FIDE rated! Time control is: G/90 +30 sec inc.
First round is Friday evening, and 2-rounds on Saturday and 2-rounds on Sunday.
We will have a strong section, so you don't want to miss out!

How to select your Section?

Step 1: Select your Grade: K, Grade1-3, Grade 4-6, Grade 6-8, Grade 9-12

Step 2: Get your rating: Look it up at USCF - Click HERE.
Not a USCF member? Then the player's rating is unrated.

K, Grade 1-3, Grade 4-6:
unrated --> Rookie section
rated under 500 --> Beginner Section
rated 500-799 --> Junior Varsity Section
rated over 800 --> Championship section
Grade 6-8:
unrated, or rated under 800 --> Beginner section
rated 800-1199 --> Junior Varsity section
rated over 1200 --> Championship section
two Championship sections: Grade 4-5 and Grade 4-6: students in Grade 4&5 can chose between the two, no restriction on which one they chose.
Grade 9-12:
unrated, or rated under 800 --> Beginner section
rated 800-1599 --> Junior Varsity section
rated over 1600 --> Championship section

Trophies to Top 20 players with winning record in each section
To ALL players in the Kindergarten section

Blitz: Trophies to Top 5 players with winning record
Bughouse: Trophies to both players of the Top 3 teams


Team Prizes
Main Event: Top 5 schools and clubs in each section
Blitz: Trophies to the top 3 schools and 3 clubs in each section
Bughouse: Trophies to both players of the top 3 teams with a winning record in each section.

What is a Team?
A team is two or more players from a school or club in the same section. Top four players' scores count for the team total.
