Thanksgiving and Winter Camps:
We have the Following Chess Camps available this season!
3-Day Thanksgiving Chess Camp, Nov 25-27
1 Day 'Black-Friday' Chess Camp, Nov 29 (special price!)
2 Day Winter Chess Camp, December 26-27 (All Levels!)
2 Day Winter Chess + Strategy-Games Combo Camp, Dec 30-31
2 Day New Years Chess Camp, January 2-3
All Camps will be held at the UUCPA in Palo Alto where we can enjoy the Magical Bridges Playground and Mitchell Park for breaks and Lunch! Address: 505 E Charleston Rd, Palo Alto, 94306
Palo Alto Club:
The Palo Alto Strategy-Games club (every Saturday, 1-3pm) will be featuring the worlds biggest and most competitive Fantasy Trading Card game 'Magic, the Gathering' on 11/23 and 12/21. We were scheduled to do this on the 16th, but had to move the plan to this weekend due to a power outage. This exciting strategic game will be for both beginner and advanced players (separated by
experience). We will provide necessary materials for all new gamers. Players that have their own cards should most certainly bring them to the club! There is no extra expense or registration required, as all BAC clubs are 'Drop-in' and paid at the door.
Stay for Chess Club, from 3-5pm at the same location!!

2019 Thanksgiving Kids Championship!
This tournament is best suited for beginner youth (ratings under 1200)
who prefer shorter time controls.
