Bay Area Chess will be hosting once again the 2017 California Class Warfare Championship over the Thanksgiving weekend at the Santa Clara Convention Center!
We are expecting a strong Open section, 3 GrandMasters already signed up: GM Izoria, GM Kolev and GM Sevillano!

3-day Section:
On-site Registration: 9-9:30am
Rounds: Friday 10am, 3:30 pm; Saturday 11am, 5pm; Sunday 10am, 3:30 pm
Time Control: 6 rounds of 40/120 SD30; d5
(40 moves in 120 min followed by 30 min sudden death, 5 second delay before each move)
2-day Section:
On-site Registration: 8:30-9am
Rounds: Saturday 9:30am, 12 pm, 2:30 pm, 5pm; Sunday 10am, 3:30 pm
Time Control: 3 rounds of G/61; d5
(Game in 61 minutes with 5 second delay before each move.)
Merge with the 3-day section after round 3
